Tom Feeney has his own Action Energy Plan and he encourages Speaker Pelosi to allow a vote on H.R. 6566 The American Energy Act that provides a comprehensive plan to unleash all of America's energy resources.

"I urge Speaker Pelosi to unpack her summer vacation bags and allow an up or down vote on an energy plan before August. Central Floridians are hurting. Seniors are hurting. Hardworking middle class families are hurting. And the American economy is hurting. This is hardly the time for vacation.

"The American people deserve an up or down vote on a comprehensive energy plan that offers immediate relief at the pump and unshackles American sources of solar power, nuclear energy, coal, wind, and oil shale.

"Hardworking taxpayers deserve lawmakers with plans for American energy, American jobs, and ultimately American security. I urge Central Floridians to call Speaker Pelosi and let her know that the Tom Feeney supported energy plan deserves a vote on the House floor," said Feeney.
