Tom Feeney: Bhola only credible challenger
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Tom Feeney today reacted to comments made by his opponents at the WCEU and the League of Women Voters of Volusia County debate which will air at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday. Tom Feeney was absent from the debate so he could be in Washington to vote against August adjournment until Speaker Pelosi brings a vote to the floor for a meaningful solution to the rising cost of fuel or H.R. 6566 The American Energy Act that provides a comprehensive plan to unleash all of America's energy resources. This morning on Wake Up Daytona, Feeney discussed his call to arms to have his constituents flood Speaker Pelosi's voicemail until her bags are unpacked and a vote is scheduled on the Tom Feeney supported energy plan to lower gas prices.
After reading reports of comments from the debate, Tom Feeney concluded that Bhola is his only credible challenger in this race. Feeney reacted:
"Apparently Mr. Bhola was the only candidate talking sense at the debate. He is absolutely correct that the American people want change and that both parties have let them down. In my absence due to my fight for lower gas prices in Washington, I'm glad at least someone at the debate brought up this important point.
"Our deficit hit an all time high, gas prices are rising, and our borders still are not secure. Both parties are to blame. Hardworking taxpayers know that I have fought against the Bush Administration and Liberal Nancy Pelosi to end illegal immigration, secure our borders, reign in irresponsible spending, and lower your gas prices.
"Bhola appears to be the only credible challenger in this race and Iâm happy that he brought up the frustrations that common sense Central Floridians face every day," said Feeney.
