Grades Are In: Feeney Receives 98% on RePORK CARD
Club for Growth Gives Rep. Tom Feeney a 98%
(Washington, D.C.) - U.S. Rep. Tom Feeney (R-Oviedo), founder of the Washington Waste Watchers, today thanked the Club for Growth for their leadership and promotion of fiscal responsibility and economic freedom. Rep. Feeney was thrilled to hear he received a 98% on the Club for Growth's RePORK CARD.
"I appreciate the work the Club for Growth is doing to return our party to our fiscally responsible roots. I want Florida's hard working taxpayers to know that while the tax-and-spend liberals in this Congress continue to try to stuff Uncle Sam's pockets, I will continue to fight to put more back into Central Florida homes," said Feeney.
The Club for Growth compiled a RePORK Card of all members' votes on all 50 anti-pork amendments. See the grades here.
The average Republican score was 43%. The average Democratic score was 2%.
Sadly, 105 congressmen scored an embarrassing 0%
Wasteful spending still plagues Capitol Hill. See today's Roll Call article on a $3 million earmark for a golf center in South Carolina. Blog with Tom about it.
ZERO Democrats have signed on to the earmark petition for more transparency in government.
