Tom Feeney URGES Democrats to Resolve FISA Before Leaving Town

(Washington, D.C.) - As FISA dangerously expires, U.S. Representative Tom Feeney (R-Oviedo), member of the House Judiciary Committee today participated in a walk-out and urged House leadership to stay in town until FISA is resolved and the American people are protected.

"Clearly, Democrats need to get their priorities in check as they irresponsibly put partisan contempt charges and baseball steroid showboating ahead of legislation to protect the American people from terrorists.

"The Senate overwhelmingly passed a bipartisan FISA bill and the President has even agreed to postpone his trip to Africa to sign the bill. It is outrageous that Speaker Pelosi is putting the American people's safety in jeopardy by not bringing this bill to the floor for consideration," said Feeney
